As part of the 2022 Annual Meeting, the NAM hosted a scientific symposium titled, “Revolutionizing the Biomedical and Health Sciences” on October 17, 2022. The event was held both virtually and in person at the 鶹ýԴ Building in Washington, DC.
In addition, NAM Members hosted Interest Group sessions on the first day of the meeting Sunday, October 16. Interest groups bring together NAM members from a variety of disciplines to engage and convene on the most current topics affecting science, medicine, technology, and health. Introductions and Awards (Sunday, October 16)
In addition to the scientific program, the 2022 NAM Annual Meeting welcomed the 2019, 2020, and 2021 classes of NAM members, as well as the 2022 class of Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellows,NAM Fellows,NAM Scholars in Diagnostic Excellence, Distinguished Nurse Scholar-in-Residence,Emerging Leaders in Health and Medicine Scholars, and the 2022 International Health Policy FellowԻNAM-HKU Fellow in Global Health Leadership. The Annual Meeting also featured the presentation of the Gustav O. Lienhard Award for Advancement of Health Care, the Rhoda and Bernard Sarnat International Prize in Mental Health, the inaugural David and Beatrix Hamburg Award for Advances in Biomedical Research and Clinical Medicine, the NAM Member Awards, and the NAM Cecil Awards.
